On November 18, 2021, the Zuv Foundation conducted a small donation drive at the Full Life Children Home, New Delhi. The foundation distributed pens, pencils, textbooks, colours, and other educational resources to more than 40 girls.
The Foundation chose a Delhi based shelter home Flag Children Home for the drive because the number of children in the shelter was the best fit for the resources that were to be distributed. Every child had something; no one was left out. The Zuv Foundation strives to carefully allocate its resources to assist and empower the poor and vulnerable people with whom it works. The drive was made possible by generous donations from those who believe in the same cause as us: empowering the underprivileged.
The Flag Children Home is a shelter home by Full Life Children Home. The mission of Full Life Children Home (a NGO) is to save, care for, and rehabilitate abused, exploited, and at-risk children. Since August 2014, the shelter home has provided a place of temporary and permanent care for young girls aged six to seventeen. Full Life Children Home has two shelter homes, one for short-term and the other for long-term. At any given time, each home has 20-30 children. All basic necessities are met in the residences, including beds, clothing, food, and personal items.
The mandate and vision of both Zuv Foundation and Full Life Children Home are the same: to prevent, rescue, and restore; to create a Godly, loving, family environment in which children can heal and grow into their true potential; and to see children living a full and healthy life, equipped to be tomorrow's leaders.
“Happiness doesn’t result from what we get, but from what we give.” We've all experienced the joy of receiving gifts. However, the joy of getting is temporary. When we share, our lives become richer, and there is immense inner delight in helping others in improving their lives.
